The Louisville Children’s Film Festival is an annual presentation of independent films for and by kids– a 501(c) 3 nonprofit founded in 2017.
For the past 3 years, LCFF has brought media arts programs to local schools and has grown its imprint as a festival of international children’s film. Each year, we give kids in Greater Louisville and their families the chance to see innovative, inspiring and fun films from around the globe, participate in workshops, and take part in meet and greet discussions with visiting filmmakers.
Each year, the festival selects more than 20 films, reaching close to 1,000 people during festival screenings in Louisville and Southern Indiana and educational programs that run year long.
This year’s festival, slated for February 21 – February 29, will spark delight, discussion, and interest in different cultures and ways of life. Through films, workshops, audience discussions and encounters with filmmakers, the festival shows children in Greater Louisville the world and sparks their imagination. Annual events such as an opening night party and awards ceremony for young filmmakers add to the excitement.
For 2020 LCFF is partnering with the Cultural Pass, Honeywick, Carmichael Kids and other like-minded businesses to add reach to our LCFF communications. In return for varying levels of sponsorship support, LCFF offers top brand placement throughout our festival.
