Louisville Children’s Film Festival will be offering field trip screenings for school groups on weekdays on February 27-28. Field trips start at 10 a.m.
Short film programs, for Pre-K through middle school students, run the gamut from gentle animation for our youngest viewers, to more adventurous international fare for older grades, to challenging, issues-oriented programs for middle schoolers.
The process of booking is simple:
- Choose a program for your group here.
- Select a possible date/time your group would be able to attend, on a weekday either Thursday, February 27 or Friday, February 28.
- Reserve it on-line.
Field trip opportunities come complete with post-screening discussions and coloring sheets (for younger students) or journal pages (for selected programs, grades 3-8) that kids can take back to the classroom. These screenings are offered free of charge thanks to a generous donation from the Horseshoe Foundation.
All field trips will be held at the Ogle Center, north of I-265, 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany.
